Description/Duties :
|
Duties: To prepare and cook meals for restaurant guests by portioning the meal according to the menu and number of guest to be served, cuts meat and helps with creating specials. Ensures all food is prepared, cooked and presented according to health department regulations and safe food handling practices. Must maintain a clean stocked and organized work area including freezer(s), refrigerator(s), and storage areas. Must also use proper safety and sanitary practices. Efficiently set, stock, maintain and breakdown stations.
Requirements: Washington State Food Handler's card, which may be obtained upon hire. One to two years of kitchen experience preferred. Have ability to read and interpret documents and a variety of instructions, such as: Safety rules, operating and maintenance, written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Regularly required to stand, walk, lift and/or move up to 25lbs occasionally up to 50lbs. Will occasionally be exposed to outside weather conditions
