Summary of Responsibilities
The career specialist provides advising, educational and career planning for a diverse population of prospective and enrolled students. This position communicates program and college information supporting a variety of student services and assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures. This position focuses on serving and retaining low income, first generation and disabled students. This is a non-exempt, professional-technical position that reports to the director of workforce development services.
