Description/Duties :
|
Mission
Goodwill provides quality, effective employment training and basic education to individuals experiencing significant barriers to economic opportunity. Because jobs change lives.
Responsible for proper handling and containment of hazardous waste materials.
Sort and inspect the hazardous material into appropriate categories, load into assigned containers, label and ready for shipment to contract.
Coordinate the shipment of hazardous material to their proper destinations.
Coordinate the daily operation of the Hazardous Waste disposal.
Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports as needed for record purpose.
Order monitor and maintain needed supplies and containers for your department.
Train other staff as backup for this department as needed.
Ensure the availability of necessary tools for these operations.
Use forklift to transport products for shipment in a safe and accident free manner.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Lifting and carrying 30 40 pounds; Developed fine motor control (grasp, handle, manipulate objects with fingers;
Standing Able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs, ramps, uneven terrain).
Written and verbal communication skills
Good vision
Indoor/outdoor working environment, temperature varies.
This is a non-exempt position. Criminal background check may be conducted on prospective employees. Annual salary: DOE.
