#10-09 Certified Hand Therapist
Rehabilitation Services Per Diem, variable. OT or PT Must be certified Hand Therapist. Provides professional physical therapy services to all age ranges under a physicians prescription to a population of both inpatients and outpatients with physical disabilities resulting from injury, disease or surgery. Outpatient services are performed in our Satellite clinic across from the hospital. Provides patient education to both patient and family members. A physical therapist will also work with the inpatient interdisciplinary team to provide care planning and discharge planning assistance. The therapist will also work with front desk staff (HUC) on ensuring compliance with all paperwork requirements to ensure proper coding and billing of services rendered. Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patients age specific needs and provide age specific treatment and care.
