#10-38 Floorcare (Housekeeping)
Environmental Services (.75) Sun & Mon Midnight-6:30am, Tues-Thurs 4:00am-10:30am
Operates equipment and performs hard floor and carpet care procedures to maintain hospital floors in a safe, sanitary and attractive condition. Performs environmental services cleaning and materiel handling tasks on a daily and project basis. Performs sanitation aide duties when requested. Performa additional duties as assigned.
Minimum of one-year experience in commercial, or hospital cleaning and floor care preferred.
Must be able to operate a variety of equipment. Experienced in floor care and carpet cleaning procedures such as stripping and refinishing, buffing, carpet shampooing and extracting desired. Must be willing to perform basic housekeeping tasks and follow instructions with minimum supervision and have good communication and interpersonal skills. Able to read, write and speak English, bi-lingual preferred.
