Research In Motion, maker of the award-winning Blackberry line of wireless products and services, seeks a Software Developer in our Bellevue, Washington office. If you're motivated to build cutting-edge user interfaces for web-based and wireless devices, then we need to talk. As the successful candidate, you'll be working in a fast paced, dynamic development environment with a top-tier team to write highly scalable applications and services for mobile products.
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
•Highly-motivated individual, who is able to learn quickly and work independently
•BS in Computer Science or related experience
•Strong HTML fundamentals
•Strong knowledge of XML, XSL, and the Document Object Model
•Internationalization and Localization
•Sound knowledge of software engineering practices and life cycle.
ADDITIONAL ASSETS
•Experience building high performance, scalable, server-based applications and services in Java.
•Working knowledge of HTTP and Internet mail protocols, such as POP and IMAP.
•Working knowledge of WAP and WML
•Experience with Apache Tomcat, Servlets, Webservices a plus.
