Description/Duties :
|
Develops, administers and provides physical security services for the purpose of safeguarding people, property, the environment, and information consistent with company and/or government requirements and regulations.
Ability to interface with government agencies; local, state, and federal law enforcement; security and fire protection management; other company management and employees; customers; and vendors and suppliers to ensure compliance with company rules and regulations. Must have completed a civilian or military accredited police academy during the last five (5) years or have two years civilian, military, or industrial security experience within the last five years, or have a two-year degree in a law enforcement related field of study. Must be a U. S. Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Washington State drivers license and concealed weapon permit. Persons considered for hire will submit to a full background screening. Additionally, will be required to go through phased screening consisting of written exam, personal history questionnaire, structured interview, medical, and psychological testing. Must have ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance. The selected individual must submit clearance request paperwork within 10 business days after job offer acceptance and obtain an interim clearance prior to reporting to work. If their final clearance is not obtained and maintained, the result may be reclassification or termination of employment. Persons hired for this position will be required to join SPFPA Local 5. There are positions at multiple Puget Sound locations.
