Telemarketing Representative Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Calls prospective customers in designated market area to prospect new leads and explain type of services and products offered. Informs current and prospective customers of current promotions. Enters names, addresses, and reactions of clients solicited into computer database system. Develops lists of prospects from city and telephone directories, trade and professional association membership lists, and other public records. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
•Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
•Ability to work in an environment where the noise level is usually moderate.
