POSITION SUMMARY
The Service Technician Trainee will work in our facilities initially while training to be a Field Service Technician.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Trainee:
• To keep normal working hours of 8:00 am until 5:00 pm.
• To assist in the service department as needed.
• To be willing to learn and start an exciting new career.
• To assist other field and shop service technicians as needed.
• To perform other duties as required.
Service Technician (After Training Has Been Completed):
• To arrive at your first assigned service call of the day by 8:00 am and check in with dispatch.
• To perform service calls on assigned customer equipment as dictated by service dispatch throughout the day until 5:00 pm.
• To properly fill out customer service orders and transfer the information via radio/phone/fax to service dispatch upon completion of every service call.
• To follow up on parts calls in a timely manner in conjunction with the parts department and dispatch.
• To assist other field and shop service technicians as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work with other service employees and/or sales staff to resolve any extraordinary technical or customer relations issues.
• To provide and maintain a reliable and adequate vehicle for daily work use.
• To maintain an adequate and organized vehicle parts inventory in conjunction with the parts department.
• To attend training classes as assigned by management.
• To attend service meetings as required by management.
• To perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
